When I remove my front plate to my front cargo carrier, I attach it with a pair of zap straps. I just cut it off when I'm done with the carrier. You still have to screw it back on to the bumper though.
I've got the exact same tires on my truck and with the camper on, I've got at least 1/2" between the tires. The tires are always at 80psi and the total weight is usually at or just above the GVWR.
