Thinking about spending time at the Columbia River is there a particular way we should go so we can get the most of our time. See water falls, easy access with RV? We have a 5 year old so walking distance is limited.
Thank you for the ideas! We are planning to be at Hearst Castle for our first stop and then second stop Monterey and then pass San Francisco (kids have already gone with school). Hopefully we could end the evening for sleep closer to Redwood Forest...
Towing a 20 foot trailer with a utv and a few quads 4 trips to the desert per year and the rest maybe towing an SUV 2 more trips per year, on a 36' coach, is gas acceptable?

I thought the same thing about the distance, but the wife said its an "adventure" I figure most of the trip will be driving with short sightseeing stops until we get to Washington and Canada, those would be hopefully two nights each.
