Another item to add: place mouse traps in and around tt and check at least weekly. A couple of mice allowed a winter in a tt can do some real damage.

Remember to put the fuse on the hot line and not the ground line.

How old is your TT? We have a 2003 and it has a cable connection outside to attach to the CG cable. The cable connection and the roof antenna seem to be wired in parallel.
