A little off subject, I like to microwave hot water for doing dishes instead of heating the entire contents of the water heater. Even when boondocking, I just time doing the dishes with other electrical needs requiring the generator.
You did some due diligence - Why ignore it! Only way I would buy is to get the cost of a rebuild ($20,000) discounted off the already negotiated sale price.
