Any ideas about how to proceed before I take it into the repair place? I’m about to takeoff for a trip and I would sure like to seeing to be working. Don’t have time to go to put it in the shop. Thanks,, DanRe: Air bag questionGuys I don't care about the airbags. One of them is already damaged. Eventually I'll get them replaced and have the 5th wheel Hardware removed. I'm wondering if it can damage either the truck or the camper.Air bag questionHi Guys, it's been years since I posted on here because oh, well, to make a long story short my girlfriend insisted on a fifth wheel which we purchased. The hardware needed for the fifth wheel in my f350 managed to puncture one of my airbags that I had installed when I bought the truck to hold my alpenlite 12 and 1/2 foot Cheyenne. I want to go out on the road again, but I don't want to have the airbag fixed yet. I will have it fixed and probably have the 5th wheel Hardware removed, but for now I just want to get going. So here's my question. Do I run the risk of damaging anything if I run with the airbags deflated? Is there any other reason not to go out with the airbags deflated?Re: Trip Report -- Lake Chelan and Milling emcvay wrote: The mill is hydraulic :) It loads the loads itself. Nice. But can you help me understand how you get the logs off the ground and into position. I don't quite see it from the pic. Do you have some sort of crane with hooks?Re: Trip Report -- Lake Chelan and MillingBeautiful! I was there about 10 years ago. How did you get those big logs on the mill?Re: photobucket 2oldman wrote: Only if you have a Truck camper. what makes you thunk i don't?photobucketI see my pics on Photobucket are now longer displaying but instead a message shows that says I need to update my account and to go to a website. Once there, they want a lot of money to continure hosting. Is there any way to fix this?Re: Leaving the fifth wheel plugged inOk but if you turn the kill switch off, the batteries won't run down will they? Thank you all for your answers.Leaving the fifth wheel plugged inIs there a reason to leave your fifth wheel plugged in when you're not using it?boondocking with just a generator to recharge the batteriesShouldn't it be possible to boondock indefinitely by just running a generator 3 hours a day (this time of year. I'm not talking winter)? By that I mean keep the batteries sufficiently charged. I use minimal 12 volt. Lights, fantastic fan, the furnace in the morning for a bit. But the highest voltage I get once the generator is stopped, and after waiting for 2 hours, is 12.09 volts. Should I expect this. When charging the voltage reads over 13. I'm using a 6500 watt honda generator. I'm plugging the RV shore power into the generator. Thanks in advance.
