Closest campground is Pickwick Landing State Park. There is also Green Acres RV resort is Savannah. We have stayed at Pickwick Landing a long time ago and it was nice. you can got to the state park web site and make reservations.
Take I 24 north from Chattanooga, to Monteagle. Then Take 41A to Winchester and pick up HEY 64. Almost all 4 lane now. Take your time and enjoy the road.Jim
