We bought ours last October and love it. Zero quality issues so far. The biggest selling points for us were the amount of USABLE counter space and the abundance of storage spaces inside the trailer. The fact that it came with the television and the outside grill were icing on the cake. Got the trusty 4-way lug wrench out of my truck and realized the walls on it are too thick to fit on the nut with enough clearance on the rim. Good thing I checked now instead of after a flat! Added a 3/4 socket and long breaker bar to my tool box I keep in the TT. Go check yours now to make sure you have the right size lug wrench or socket in your TV or TT. Have you actually tried to change a tire on your TT? I highly recommend doing that at your house to make sure you have what you need. I have found that my factory truck jack works just fine to change my TT's tires - the multi-piece extended bar is actually quite convenient. And yes I had to get a socket just to fit my TT's lugs (nuts, whatever works). I carry a 6 ton bottle jack in my pass through.Check before it's too lateJust decided to check the lug nuts on our TT we purchased last fall. It’s 120V only.....Re: Weekend camping - Fridge useWell me and the better half are in our TT right now in the driveway just to test this sort of issue out. Been on battery (1) since Sunday afternoon. LED lights have been used but not abused. Fridge seems to be doing great. Fresh water is a bit low, but 3 days appears to be easily doable. That’s also using the USB wall plug to charge phones and iPads. No problem so far....Re: New to Trailer camping, what are some must haves, and wants fitznj wrote: in addition to the above: - a pack of playing cards - a board game or two - a few books/magazines - sipping whiskey !! #4 is very important! I was looking in my bar a few weeks ago for a bottle of bourbon from a barrel pick some friends did. Nowhere to be found. Walked in the TT one day and remembered I’d put about 6 bottles of GOOD bourbon in a cabinet to share with others while camping! ??Re: Weight Distribution SystemEqualizer E2 should be a perfect fit in your situation. Around $300 or less on Amazon. Sway control built in.Re: Good to go?Yep, I agree. Mine is the Lariat edition which undoubtedly added to the gross weight which reduced the payload even more...Re: Good to go? rhagfo wrote: kw/00 wrote: I got 2220 when subtracting 7780 from 10000, but the yellow sticker on the door will tell u anyway what your payload is according to the manufacturer, so I'm curios if it's different from what you got. Yes you are correct about what the payload number means. The trailer is really light for the truck, even a mid sized truck could have pulled that, but you have the option of going larger one day if your inclined to do so. Anyway enjoy camping!!! The "YELLOW" Payload sticker is only good for comparing payloads on the dealers lot! Once the TV is off the lot and in the owners hands that is no longer valid!! Side steps, tool boxes, extra fuel tanks, family size, and STUFF all affect real payload available. The OP almost did it correctly, should have had TV loaded with DW and any family or pets with then when scaled. In this case really doesn't matter too much as that is plenty of TV for that trailer. No I did not 'almost' do it correctly... I did this on purpose to get a true empty weight. When it's fully loaded for the next trip, it will get weighed again along with the trailer attached and unattached so i have all my ducks in a row before heading out cross country
