I was told by a local RV Tech that the springs on my slide toppers could not be tightened up. Is this true, or was he "blowing smoke"?I know from experience that the spring on garage door openers can be tightened up.
Thanks for the info! I'm now in So.Padre Island, TX and the winds @ nite keep the slide topper over my bed banging so much, it's hard to sleep. I will try the rope trick first. Thanks! Lee
