I cant give you a fix for this. Mine do it also. I think that once they have been unpleated they never go correctly again.. I think on mine that fingers got them messed up.. just something to deal with
On mine the box slides on some nylon blocks, I lube the bottom of the slide box with Mothers Carnuba wax.. That Paraffin wax idea might be as good or better.
