You might try calling some of the RV parks in that area. Some parks have space to park/store a rig where it is secure and not too expensive. Good luck.
Most bang for the buck would be travel trailer and truck.Lots of space for the money, adequate storage, same accessories (furnace, water heater, fridge, stove, etc.) as other rv's.If you lose interest you've still got a nice truck.
If you're purchasing "New" as you say, then you want to be cognizant of warranty issues. Don't do something that will void the warranty. Also, don't fail to make warranty claim at the slightest hint of a problem. De-lamination can result from surpris...
Talk to factory rep of hitch manufacturer. They should know what you need. My Equalizer that I used with 24' trailer couldn't handle my new 31' trailer (8k# vs. 5k#) and their rep was right on the mark with suggested 10,000# hitch. Couldn't be happie...
