Is the coating just pipe dope. It is a pipe thread sealer. I have not looked that close to the W/H in my trailer. Being in az i do not winterize. S i have just glanced at it from time to time. The holy cross trail has been on extreem 4x4 tv the last couple days. Theyu all did it in full size chevy trucks. Some were moded and a bit shorter than normal a a coule were full size all the way. The Rim is a great spot. We spend lots of time there. Our favorite spot is just east of forest lakes on the rim.The wind sure can get to blowing right on the rim like that but the veiw is well worth it. The spot you are at in the photos is a great spot to go in september when the Elk are in the rut. You can set up allnight and hear the bugles all over the place below and on top of the rim. Another bad thing is that if you go off the edge you will not stop until the bottom of the canyon stops you. There is nothing to keep you from going all the way down. Has anyone ever gone off the edge. I do the trails on ATVs now as my truck is my every day driver and my way of making money. So i can not take any chances at break downs.191Views0likes0Comments
