FYI found a 2003 suburban with 8.1. Set up trailer with equalizer hitch. Pulled flawlessly 3k miles first time out. Very happy with burb. we call it "The Beast". Thanks everyone for replies.
Well I decided to go with a nice 2003 Burb 2500 with the 8.1. Only has 113k miles and nice shape. They are not easy to find and with low miles and good shape seem to come at a premium. Anyway i got the truck now what is recommended for weight distrib...
Yea it seemed to be especially bad when trucks passed. I'm going to be pulling with 3/4 ton suburban or excursion from here on out maybe this will help
