Ours BOTH cylinder mounts ripped loose from the door while the door was sitting closed. The shocks have so much pressure in them to hold up the weight of the door that they ripped the screws out. Rather than take it in mainly because I don't think I could trust a repair job to just move the mounts an inch and put back in, I used white 1/4 UHMW board that will blend in with the inside of the door and not rot or dry out and epoxied strips to the inside of the door and the inside of the garage then fastened with .75" and 1.25" screws so that the mounting screws cannot tear out of that. I sometimes wonder what goes through the designers minds when things like this are built.Re: Keystone Bullet PremierJust bought a 2011 Keystone Springdale 296BHSSR, I'm very happy with Keystone so far.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012I've got a very well stocked wood shop and do custom woodwork so I'm making dividers for under the Queen bed for storage and replacing all of the plywood/luan drawer interiors with reall hard wood (cherry) to make them stronger and to also make more divider space. I've added shelves in the cabinets too so there is another layer of storage and things won't have room to slide around. I've already got the other goodies... (power awning, power stabilizers and tounge jack, airbed) One very handy addition is one of those COSCO ladders that telescope and go from a step ladder to a 17th flat ladder. It all folds up less than 4 1/2 ft long and slides right into my storage. OH, and "shoeboxes" from the Dollar Store in all sizes and are clear so you can see what you have stored in them. I found ones that fit right in my stow areas and are stackable.
