Hello, we live in Idaho and just purchased a 2018 Coachman Prism. We have taken two trips so far. Went to Yellowstone great experience. Then we just got home from No Cal, we visited the Ave of the Giants, Red Woods are amazing, this road is goes right thru the forest, then went up the coast on Hwy 101 to Newport OR, then back to Idaho. Well had a shower to repair, visited Camping World for the parts & they suggested that we join Good Sam, so here we are. It is my wife, myself and our two small dogs.

Traveling is something we have planed on doing once I retired which I did the beginning of the year, so it is finally here and getting done. See you all along the way.

I live in SW  Washington. I am newly widowed so I am learning to become a solo traveler. I am really interested in caravan camping too. I have a Winnebago Solis. I would love to get tips from others who are traveling solo in their  Class B Vans!

Hello!  I'm a single 67 year young woman, having traveled in my Class C for about 8 years.  I'm retiring and planning to check off my list all the National Parks.  My favorite trip so far was Route 66 from St. Louis to Flagstaff, stopping along the way to check out all the fun, quirky sights.   I traveled across the country, Delaware to Nevada, but only for the purpose of delivering my RV to my new home in Nevada.  I wish I could have taken time to sight see, but was still working full-time, so on a tight timeframe.  I'm feeling very energized about my next trip, wherever that may be!

Hello everyone,  I am from NY and went camping frequently as a kid with my parents. I have done a lot of tent camping and a few yrs ago bought a pop up camper with a slide out but finally decided to go with a travel trailer.  My new 2024 keystone bullet crossfire 1700BH is going to make camping with my kids a more pleasant camping experience for everyone while adding priceless memories..

I've been a Life Member of Good SamClub for many years.  This change in the format has, well, frustrated me, as I was used to the old website and forum.

My road handle is Bandaid.  It was given to me when I worked on an IMSA RS car and anytime I got around a piece of sheet metal work, I cut myself!  I am also a retired Industrial Arts teacher!   Never cared much for metal shop, other than welding.

     My wife and I have owned a Sunseeker Classic, model 2860, for the past two years, having moved over from a 37 foot fifth wheel.  We are now Florida residents and due to circumstances, have not traveled much this year in the camper.  Next year, I would like to plan an extended trip north and try to avoid some of this intense summer heat.

We live in Oklahoma and I never thought I’d want a travel travel trailer, until that is, when my in-law’s talked me into borrowing their’s, (had to borrow the truck too!) and I was HOOKED!!!! Since 2000 we’ve had several RV’s and settled on a new Grand Design, Imagine XL, RBE22! We throughly enjoy traveling, we retired in 2017, and have been seeing our country. Grand Canyon, Mt. Rushmore, Washington D.C., Michigan’s west coast & UP, just to name a few with more to come!

Good Afternoon. Gregg and Nancy here. We just bought a used in great condition  Forest River Vibe Extreme Light and while we have both trailer camped it is our first time owning one. I have not found a good user guide of “this goes here and connects to thst” manual and would like to know where we can get a rundown on it. The guy we got it from has all the paperwork but was not the owner. Any help appreciated. Tanks !!

Hi there,  my name is Cheryl.  I too used to enjoy my motorcycle. I have tent camped for 30 years, enjoy overlanding, and being off grid. It was difficult for me to find other women to tent camp, so I have just purchased a 23' camper. I will feel safer if I go alone,  but probably won't have a problem getting others to camp with me now. I'm 63 and really excited to spend my years camping/glamping around the country, seeing places I've never visited, for as many years as can.

Hello everyone! This is Cathy and Jim from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We have booth been camping since we were kids. Starting out together backpacking to now owning a 42 foot toy-hauler 5th wheel. We both ride motorcycles so thus the toy-hauler.

A couple of old "virgins" here from Boston.  My wife and I tent campers for most of our lives attended the Boston Camping Show and my wife fell in love with Modern Buggy's -Little Buggy- Teardrop Camper.  So of course we bought it !  We've been out camping this spring and summer getting accustomed to having a camper with bed and galley, solar powered by a Jackery 1000 Pro.  It took quite a few times to get our gear changed out, purchase new stuff and learn how to camp pulling a trailer behind us.  In 12 days we leave for a 45 day - nine National Park - cross country adventure.  Our route is set, our reservations made, our menus planned, our stuff to do there loosley planed and our routine for setting up, breaking down, teardrop camping and travelling well researched and ready to put to use.  We joined here to become part of the RV Community.  We are both retired, Bostonians and love travelling.  We enjoy being on the road with each other and have done extensive driving in the past.  We look forward to this year's new adventure pulling "Bugsy" behind us along with a couple of EBikes and experiencing a new journey and new sights to see and experience along the way.  Last Spring we did a 32 day trip with similar stops but snow hindered seeing all of the places we wanted.  We also wanted to sleep inside these parks instead of "close by".  It was great fun but this is our "do over" with a couple new parks added and of course our camper.  Hope to hear and see some of you one the road in our travels.

We started out years ago in a 1975 Winnebago Brave! Then we got out of the RV life until 2001 when we purchased a Winnebago Sightseer, which served us well. We are now in a 2016 Jayco Precept which serves as "home base" as we follow our grandson's baseball career from Georgia Southern University to the current Mississippi Braves organization. We love camping at the beach and have made two trips out west from Georgia.
