Do we need to go back south on I-95 to I-695 to I-83 to get to Hershey or is there a way to head north from Aberdeen cross country? Just don't want to encounter any low overpasses and extremely winding roads. Thanks for your feedback.

Looks like it is only about 70 miles but will take you about 1 3/4 hours to get there. When we lived in Port Deposit we would go up along the river then to Lancaster then on to Hershey. Take MD-222 N/Susquehanna River Rd, US-222 N, PA-272 N, PA-283 W and Hershey Rd to in Hershey.

We use this route also and tow a 39, 5th wheel with a full size tractor, about the hardest place would be crossing the Conowingo Dam a it is narrow( if you go that way) the rest of the roads are mostly 2 lane country roads and no low bridges. Better then going south on 95 to 695.

We are hearing new information for the kids and grandkids. We may have to go over to 695 to pick up the grandkids anyway. We'll see. Thanks for the posts, hopefully we'll get to go the shorter (and prettier) way.
