is any one planning on going up in 2021? assuming the borders are open of course. just wondering what it will be like since, i guess, that most of the businesses this year had no business. i wonder if the smaller, mom and pop type, businesses will be there.
at this point in time, as i type this, we do not plan on going up.
but there is always hope.

Yes, I had a fishing trip planned this year and 50% paid for when things closed. So we're forecasting to take the truck and camper in early July of 2021 and hopefully make the trip. Like others, it depends on crossing borders and if there is quarantine requirements in place.

We have been thinking similar thoughts. Our plans to go this year had been 5 years in the making. Lots of business folks in Alaska are suffering. It felt wrong to ask for a refund.
When I called to cancel reservations for RV Parks and Excursions, 2 places said they were closing up the business, one was an RV Park in Canada
We have commitments to our grandkids for 2021. Our new plan is Alaska 2022.

Mom and Pops may be best suited to surviving. Few if any business expenses for those that own the real property. Why the gloom and doom?
