Can someone suggest a route for a 40 bus with tow for touring the major cities in Alaska? Love fishing? Is there a place to store a RV bus and take a cruise from a port to do a round trip to view major ports in Alaska?

You can take two back-to-back 7-day cruises from Seward or Whittier that will bring you back - nobody offers a shorter return cruise. Parking a rig is no problem at the Seward dock, but Whittier could be a challenge. I suggest that "the major cities" (which is Anchorage and Fairbanks) is not what you really want to see in Alaska.

There is really only one road it just makes a loop around. Coming in from Tok on Hwy 2 it splits at Tok with 1 going to Anchorage and 2 going to Fairbanks and so on. All the main roads are good highways. Did it last year in a 39' with toad and no problems. No info on storage for cruise.

You have asked this in three posts already.

I agree. It should be moved to the Alaska forum.

This needs to moved to the Alaska board, and given an informative title.

What are the major ports in Alaska? Are you thinking like a cruise ship tourist, or a commercial shipper? or as a fisherman?

As far as taking a cruise, I imagine you mean an Alaska cruise. Those cruises start either in Seattle or Vancouver, BC on the south end or in Anchorage on the north end (can't remember the name of the port up there). Or an Alaska Ferry which begins in Bellingham, WA on the south and travels through S.E. Alaska, stopping at ports along the way. Might be worth your looking into. Either way you will need reservations.
