Avoiding Road Construction

Lots of posts on here advise people on how to avoid road construction. I just completed a cross-country 3900 mile trip last week. I know it's not 3900 miles across, but we also zigzagged. I determined that the only way to avoid road construction is to stay at home!! There is a lot of road work going on in this Country in every state and in some States you spend more time in Construction zones than out of them. And in some states every construction zone had a state trooper in them with a laser! So when it says slow down, then slow down.

How very true.

I need to invest in those orange construction barrels,or cones, man, they use a lot of them!

Your right! it's road construction season and I have been going from Southern Oregon to Redding Ca.one to two times a month since February and their are some big projects going on,on I5.
With the fires their has been roads closed from time to time so check on road closers in the fire areas before you head out.
