Anyone ever stayed at the Bow River RV Park in Cochrane?
If so what did you think? The RV park reviews rate it fairly high.
Thanks

As our kids live in Cochrane we have stayed at this campground a few time over the years, when we are pulling the 5er. . The one up the Hwy 22 about 6 to 8 km, looks ok, however it is right beside Hwy 22, no trees, well trees but they are still small and the wind up on that flat is usually enough to sail a boat on the dry prairie grass. There is a nice big Shell station right beside the campground so thatโ€™s handy.

Texas Shadow....back ins are smaller but my 40' 5er fits with dually and car in any of the pull thrus. Lots of room left for bikes, picnic table, loungers etc.

we stayed there about a dozen years ago when we took in the fair and Calgary Stampede Rodeo. We had a 30ft MH then and managed to find a spot to hold us. Don't know if our 40ft could do it.
But the campground was nice and sits at the base of the Rocky Mountains and Calgary is a straight shot downhill, so we liked it very much.

There is another RV park about 5 miles North of Cochrane (Big Hills Springs Road and Hgy 22) in case the Riveredge is full.

Our first choice whenever we get "home" to the Calgary area! Nice folks that manage the park.

Stay every summer for last 6. Mostly pull throughs with lots of space. Very clean, next to walking trails/off leash area on the river. Nice walk to town. Showers and laundry very expensive (washers $3, Dryers $3, showers $2 with no temp adjustment) Paved roads (like new) and clean crushed gravel sites with some grass. Last summer (after floods) not full. There was space available almost all summer except for around stampede (early July).

We've stayed several times at Bow Riversedge RV Park in Cochrane. Very nice clean newish park, but not always easy to get into. Lots of people displaced by the floods last year moved in while their homes are being replaced. It's certainly the nicest park in Cochrane though. I'd highly recommend it.

Never stayed at the RV park, but the town is nice. Are you stopping for a few days, or just overnight ?
