Flash flooding in Loveland going on right now. As of the 9pm local news, there's a cell sitting over us and immediately to the west in the foothills, affecting the Big Thompson Canyon, the North and South St Vrain and to a lesser extent, the Cache la Poudre west of Ft Collins. There's a cell that's just been sitting over us for the past several hours. News reports saying 2.5 to over 3 inches of rain have fallen. Haven't heard of any rain/snow reports from the Estes Park/RMNP area, but radar showing them affected as well. I'm pretty confident that RMNP is probably getting goodly snow up high, Trail Ridge Rd may be a challenge yet again tomorrow morning when crews can get up there. If you're coming out this way check www.cotrip.org for the latest conditions Saturday.
ETA: NWS just issued a Winter Storm Warning for areas west of us above 10000 feet, to expect 2-6 inches of snow overnight. This will very likely affect Trail Ridge Rd for re-opening tomorrow.
