Good Mechanic in Eagle River (if you need one)

Posted this last year too as I was very impressed with the service from Steve and the group at S&P certified car care, Eagle River, when we lived up there.
I know how hard it is to find a good mechanic, never mind when you're on the road, and I do most all work myself, yet I'd give these guys 5stars for honesty, skill and fair price.

If you're broke down or need work around Anchorage, this is the place!

Along the same lines, if you need transmission work and your options are Hansens in Anchorage or light your rv on fire and walk away, then go get the gas and matches and call the insurance company!
Long stories, but I wouldn't let them check the oil, much less turn a wrench.

I'll 2nd Grit Dog's recommendation. Great shop with good employees who are honest when it comes to repairs.
