We passed through tonight around 6. Traffic was miniimal, no problems. Was hopeful ng for a road sign to ferguson for pictures sake, we didnt see that either.

We are about an hour west of st louis, at lazy da campground, and it's outstanding. Thunderstorming like crazy, now, but really nice place.

Ferguson is a tiny enclave that no one on earth had ever heard about or cared about until the recent trouble. There is well over 1 million people living and thriving in the St. Louis Metro area. Almost all of them go about their daily lives without rioting. Like any city or town, there are areas you don't want to go into if you don't have to. So unless urban decay and a visit to an area of racial unrest is on your bucket list, there is no reason your visit to St. Louis would need to include Ferguson. From retired LEO prospective stay on the hwy and travel mid morning through the area. JMHO. Hope it doesn't violate rules. Bad guys rob, **** and pillage during night time hours. They sleep morning daylight hours. They aren't usually out until the afternoon.

Last month we went around St. Louis without problems on the 270.
