Going to get away for 5 or 6 weeks, as of tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. Hoping that the weather improves so that I can get some nice fall shots. If the weather allows, will leave 97 at McCleese Lake and pop back out at 150 Mile. Then on to Kamloops, Kelowna and a Community supper in Hedly. To Vancouver for some family matters then down into Washington and drop some cash, Christmas shopping and hang out a bit in Seattle. Back over the 49th parallel, see the grandkids again, lunch with a group of retired bus drivers....and head'r home. Getting in maybe the 6th of November. Just in time to winterize and into storage.

There..that reads like a nice enough way to get a fall trip in, eh....

On the road for four days so far...managed to get from Kitimat to Peachland. I have a bunch of pix posted on the Blog if you want to see some fryBread, totem carving or some old mining sites around Likely and Quesnel Forks, in BC. Plus I have now cached my first walking stick and the GPS info posted on the Blog and GeoCache.com

Be reminded tho please....as have been mentioned my Blog isn't for everyone. There are a couple swear words to be seen.

Sorry joe..what was it I was saying?..oh right..the southwest...aiming for a March trip to some hot springs in Death Valley and a side trip to the Slabs. All of which is predicated on the bathroom reno NOT happening for 8 weeks or so. I figure May is a good time for that.
