on saturday we leave sea pirate campground exit 63 off garden state parkway. now my question. what is the best route ny thruway to garden state parkway or nj turnpike. thanks getting conflicting answers

NYS Thruway 87/287 to Garden State Parkway, then to exit 63. I prefer the GSP over the NJ Turnpike. Trucks/commercial vehicles are not allowed on the GSP north of exit 105.
