Route 81 to 40 to Nashville

we stayed at 2 Rivers campground which is nice enough....agree with gcloss..when you come from the Northeast,where the streets are lined with GOLD....high prices roll off your back...Chuck

Back in June I went to Nashville and back via I-78, I-81 & I-40. I have to say the worst part of the trip was from the NJ line on I-78 to just south of Carlisle PA on I-81. This stretch of road was horrible, potholes, rough road, poor patches .... During my trip I drove nearly 3000 miles in 8 states and PA was the absolute worst!

From the Va line to Nashville was pretty good

81 south from just below Frackville to Harrisburg is a mess. One side is shut down and all traffic on the other side. An hour delay is not unusual.
