South Carolina 601 N. to Gettysburg PA

What is the best route starting, maybe, at the intersection of I-26 and SC 601 N.? The purpose is to avoid the interstate after I-95. Are there any good RV campgrounds along the way on whatever route is recommended? I am coming up I-95 N. out of Pompano Beach, FL. up to the intersection of I-26.

I-26 to I-77- to I-81. Then in Pa pick up State Rt 30 east.
