55+ RV communities to live year round in Texas

My husband and I are looking for a community in south Texas for 55 plus senior any suggestions?? One that we are looking at is Victoria Palms in Donna,Texas. Any opinions on that park. We also have been watching YouTube and one that seemed nice was Bentsen Palm. It sounds like you have to buy the lot though and we aren't ready to do that. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Victoria has a lot of amenities. the sites, however, are very tight. You don't mention your rig, but the units are very close together. Bentsen Palm RV Park is not an ownership park, I don't think. It is right next door to Retama Village which is an ownership park. Green Gate Grove on the same road as Retama and Bentsen Palm is very nice and you can rent or buy in there.

There are hundreds of parks throughout the valley. My advice would be to come on down. . . you won't need a reservation. Rent something for a week or two and scope out the area and find a place you really like.
