The only amenity that we like to see over and above the basics, is good separation between the weekenders and the semi-permanent crowd.
X-2 Plus all of the above listed amenities.
One of our favorite family owned resorts is Sequoia RV Ranch near Three Rivers, CA. It's a little rustic but the owners are updating the facilities and amenities.
They have a loop which are the permanent spaces and then another loop which is for overnighters and long term but not permanent residents.
Most important is a clean, well cared for facility. A good example is Chula Vista RV Resort near San Diego.
Another good addition is an activities director- Sets up activities to keep the kids busy and fun stuff for adults as well.
Craft classes, yoga/exercise, RV related seminars, dances, wine tasting, bingo, tours of local attractions, golf tournaments, empty your RV sale(like a garage sale)...etc.
