We want to stop in Auston Tx for two days. Does anyone have suggestions on what RV park would be good?

When are you going? I just tried to find space and had a devil of a time finding anything with availability!

Previously we stayed at Oak Forest and would return there.

We are scheduled to stay at La Hacienda.

Even the dry camping/COE park just south of there is closed at the end of September.

Check out Austin Lone Star RV Resort. We stayed there last year and it was still close to everything and pretty decently priced.

Several great State Parks as well as COE parks in Austin area. Definitely make reservations, especially on weekends. Texas parks in this area stay really full.

Thanks all. We will pick one of the recommendations for a two stay in Austin on our way to Mexico.

We stayed in Pecan Grove RV Park during the summer (yes, it was hot!). Itโ€™s in a great location - close to downtown and several parks. It seemed there were a lot of full timers, but there were a few sites available for us transients.

The state park is right outside town, and a really nice place. It's called Mckinney Falls.
