Best RV parks for large Class A, around the Phoenix area?

My wife and I will be heading to Phoenix at the end of the month (this July) in our coach to look for a home to buy. (Yes, we know it is HOT and not prime time for real estate shopping).

We're looking for a house on 1/2 acre to 1 acre or so, in the outer Phoenix areas of Cave Creek, Carefree, North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, Scottsdale, East Phoenix, Mesa, Gilbert, Queen Creek, etc. areas.

We would be most grateful to hear what RV parks near any of those areas might be the nicest ones for us to stay in while we are searching for a home in the general area.

43' Class A with Chevy Avalanche toad... looking for a good RV park around Phoenix.

Many thanks, in advance, for your input! ๐Ÿ™‚ Stay cool, folks!

Thanks for the comments. After posting this I did go to RVPark Reviews and was amazed at the huge number of parks in the east Phoenix/Mesa area! Some of them are massive. Some great options. The covered sites in Happy Trails are appealing as well.

Gatorcq, actually, we are looking in the $600k's for the property.

Eagle View @ Fort McDowell is great, and next to Fountain Hills. You have some other fine places like: Usery Mountain Park in Mesa, Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Junction, Meridian RV Resort in Apache Junction, Gold Canyon Golf and RV Resort in Gold Canyon, plus a plethora of larger places in Mesa. I would suggest you look at RVParkreviews.com to see for yourself what these campgrounds offer that you might like. You would also be able to see their rates, location, and get a feel for what might be best for you. The real estate market is on the rebound, and the number of new communities is growing again (e.g. The Bridges in Higley, Eastmark in Mesa-this one is on the old GM test track). Have a safe trip!

Rent a site in Happy Trails with a covering over the site. It will help keep the motorhome cool. Lots to do in the park, too.
