It's not just the park. Brewster county is closed down.

And according to this map, Brewster County hasn't had a single case of corona virus.

(updated April 17)

In fact, there are cases of corona virus in every county from the Oklahoma border straight down to Brewster County, where it stops. In adjacent Pecos County, which has 15,000 people compared to Brewster County's 10,000 people, there are five cases.

This may not be a bad thing; I was there last year during the gvmnt shutdown
and the NP was really empty of people. I stayed at Terlingua (stone throw
from the southern entrance) and had the whole place to myself (well almost!).

No traffic, no backups, almost no one on the hiking trails..........etc.

They did not block the entrances, so you could drive into the park as normal.

I saw some people on the primitive sites along River? Road.
