Bonneville Speed Weeks.

Hi from AZ. . . has anybody gone to Speed Weeks at the Bonneville salt flats ? I would love to go, but apparently the KOA in Wendover is the only park around & of course it's full. I heard there was a boondocking area nearby, but can't find any info on it. If anybody has any experience with going, I'd love to hear of it. thanks, Craig
