Most water/electric sites in the area are in the $400-$500 range for the week. They charge for the full week no matter how long you are there.

Last time we were there they had just installed the 50amp sites above the drag strip. Offered us one and we took it. Good site. If you plan to go next year I would try that.

Avoca Christian Church. just down the road from the track. they will shuttle you to the track. some sites have a power hookups. youth group fundraiser, no charge just donation. fix breakfast all mornings and lunch or supper too.
easy walk from the track if you are in shape. did it three times rode once.
next door to Greek restaurant and near walmart and fuel and anything else you need.
you have to call the church and reserve a spot.

I love Bristol.

I HATE the upper levels of "the Landing" camping area because you must walk a LONG way uphill and the driveway is gravel and tricky on a motorcycle. IIRC, the sites there tend not to be very level.

THIS YEAR I'm going to be on the dragstrip......on asphalt/concrete.
The sites are a little smaller but I think I will like it much better.

Stayed here for the last 7 years, twice a year. Great place.

http://bristolcampground.com/

Most places are primitive. They have trucks that roll around to pump your tanks and another to fill your water. About $25 each. Unless you've gone solar, you'll need a generator, inverter style are always appreciated.

There are a couple of campgrounds with hook ups, but they are very expensive and somewhat crowded.

I would not camp in the campground on just to the north of the track, next to the creek and adjacent to the vendor areas. It seems to get very dirty and if it rains, it does not drain all that well.

Camping info

There are a lot of camping opportunities there in addition to the track owned campgrounds. Take a little extra lumber for leveling if you camp in one of the grassy areas.

Seems like the majority of attendees camp there. Lots and lots of choices. Best areas are on track property, although a number of the private campgrounds - many of which are dry camping in a field - are within walking distance.
