Anyone have any information as to how extensive the make over will be and any idea of an opening date?

It would be nice if they did something like they did at JONATHAN DICKINSON SP, FL

When we were there in Feb, a Ranger said they were updating the electric service and rest rooms. He may have mentioned more but we do not remember.

That's too bad, I was hoping they were going to really update the sites.

I often wonder why it seems that very little money is ever put back into some of these State Parks. They always seem to be full and very hard to get into.

Also, they always have a large number of volunteers providing many hours of free labor.

Very little, if anything, being done to actual campsites. Most the work is another bathhouse. I haven't driven in the last couple of weeks but last I did, staff had no day but said they'd heard 'maybe March 2016' for completion.
