Going to Florida

I would like to know if anyone has traveled to Florida from
St Catharines Ontario down 219 to 77 and what the roads and weather can be like around late Dec early Jan

I can't help you up north, but living in NC and knowing I-77, I can tell you that it is a hit or miss thing on I-77
You can have 75 degree weather and you can have snow and ice, and the big problem with the snow or ice, is once you get down out of the mountains the road people don't have a clue how to handle it.
One time in December we had snow covered roads all the way to Columbia and there were cars and trucks off both sides of the road.
Just pay attention to the weather reports and plan by them.
