Have reservations there for 3 nights starting 7/23; have not been there or the area and wanted to just take a look at it.

Been by it, but haven't stayed there. We have stayed at Four Seasons RV Resort just up US 50 in Salida and thought it was a good park. Just my preference, but there is more to do in Salida and the Brown's Canyon National Monument-Collegiate Range area than in Westcliffe, the Wet Mountain Valley, and the eastern slope of the Sangre de Cristos. Unless you are going to Westcliffe just for a music festival or something similar.

For more ideas along US 50 and I-25/US 160 in the Pueblo, Westcliffe, and Salida region, take a look at my new blog HERE.

We have stayed at Grape Creek a couple of times. For us it was overnight on the way to Buena Vista, but many others stay for the season. Very nice campground, well laid out. Just a few miles out from Westcliffe.
