Grocery and other deliveries in the Rio Grande Valley

We use a new service called Favor. You have to download their app to your smartphone. They deliver groceries, prescriptions, food, stuff from Lowe's and home Depot and pretty much anything you want. You place your order on the app and typically have it on your doorstep in one to two hours. Your delivery driver also picks your delivery like a personal shopper. We have ordered ice cream and frozen vegetables and they still come frozen. The drivers have been fast friendly and courteous. The app requires various delivery fees and includes a tip for the driver picker. We usually have an additional cash tip for the driver when they drop off the order. Occasionally they make substitutions if what you want is not available. Anyhow we have been 100% impressed and satisfied with their service.

We used favor last season. They also have a web site so either a phone or computer can be used to order.

Also forgot to mention that they deliver beer and wine from HEB. They deliver from most restaurants and have reduced and even a few that are free delivery fees. They delivered a couple weeks worth of Happy Hour supplies for us today with no delivery charge. While pickup and delivery is in progress you can communicate with the driver by phone or text to clarify what you want or approve substitutions.
