I'm trying to find a decent, affordable, safe RV resort to Snowbird this winter. I have found Casa Del Sol in Hemet,Ca but only find a few reviews. Has anyone stayed there recently that can give me some insite? Their website looks ok buy very few photos of the RV sites, which I guess is kind of normal for all the RV websites. The Golden Palms Resort is nearby but there seems to be a huge disparity in price between the two which makes me cautious about Casa Del Sol. Any info is greatly appreciated on either place.

There is a private ownership park down the road called Mountain Shadows. It is located at 1295 Cawston Ave. Many owners in the park rent their sites out at a reasonable rate. I believe the office number is 951 929 5103. They might be able to help you. Since each site is rented by the owners, not the park, they might be able to give you some contact info. The park as a pool, 2 spas, many activities and is very clean. It is also gated.

Golden Village is nice but expensive. Their facility is very nice and they have a lot of things to do.

Casa del Sol has been going downhill for a few years. I wouldn't call it a resort. Sites are a bit tight. There is also Mountain Valley but those sites are very small.

Go to www.rvparksreview.com to search for rv resorts in and around Hemet. Read through the reviews from the rv'ers to decide which park is best.

Not familar with area but have you used google earth on the parks in Hemet? I try to get some idea of what the parks look like with google earth. To get a really good view you need a large screen not a smart phone.
