Worlds Largest items in Casey, IL.

If you are passing through IL on I-70 and need a stop, try Casey. (Mile Marker 129) There is a KOA (I know) right at the exit or a city park campground and there are many things to see in town that are AWESOME!!!

They have a wind chime over 50 feet tall, a rocking chair that is at least that tall, and a mail box of similar size. You can see a yard stick that has to be 36 feet long and a pencil to go with it. Large crochet hooks, a 30 ft. golf tee, wooden clogs, and a pitch fork for the Jolly Green Giant.

We really enjoy oddities and this town has it all.

Pretty helpful people in the KOA there. Had a break down there last year and they were very helpful.

More on Oddities ... we enjoyed taking our grandson (age 4) to Metropolis, KY, the home of Superman. He loves superheros, and Superman is right up there. It wasn't a long stop, but a great lunch/break during a long drive.

We live within 15 minutes of Casey, IL, so the large oddities there aren't really new for us. ๐Ÿ™‚ Time to get out the travel trailer, dust off the truck and GO CAMPING!!!
