Long Key State Park - Florida Keys - Cancellation

Unfortunately, our plans have to be changed and we have to cancel our reservation at Long Key State Park. It is for Site #52 for Jan 2 through Jan 16, 2014.

I plan on canceling it at 10:00 AM sharp on Saturday, December 28, 2013 ........

Me too, but I guess a FL got preference. No problem. I do really appreciate the posting of the cancellation.

Glad someone from the form got the site,like I said I was just going to get 4 days near the end as I have friends coming down for the tampa rv supershow and need to be back by the 15.Have fun.

Thank you for posting this cancellation, we booked Jan 4th through 15th. They do go fast this time of year, I just kept hitting the refresh button.

Did someone from the form get the site? I was on the park web site at 10am the only days that were available were the 2&3. I was looking toward the end of the reservation for a few days.Thats how fast they go this time of year.

Last year I was able to pick up a 9-day stay at Oscar Scherer SP, Osprey FL, after a poster here notified when he was going to cancel. It was our first snowbird trip and didn't realize FL has an 11 month reservation policy. We were very lucky and had a great time.

Hope others do the same for fellow RV.netters. 🙂

I'm sorry you have to cancel you stay there. It's very hard to get a winter reservation
at that park. Thanks for posting a heads up here. You are going to make someone
really happy.

Thanks for the heads up...just got back from the Keys compliments from another rv.net member who posted a cancellation. We can't take advantage now but the thought is much appreciated. Camp on!
