Thinking about August trip to Moosehead Lake region for few days then to Acadia coast region..suggestions on campgrounds and must see/do...moose watching required..lol. thanks.
Take a hike up Mount Katahdin. The mountain is about one mile high and the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is about 5 miles from the base to the top. Camp at Baxter State Park.
