Mama Gertie's?

How bad is the hill getting to Mam Gertie's? How about getting up to the new view sites? I am a bit squeamish of heights if it feels like we will fall over the edge... Thanks!

I have gone up. No issues. It is a bit of a white knuckle on the top campground but it is worth it.

No problem with a 35' MH towing and there were bigger rigs there. The sites all the way up are fantastic. Great place. Great folks.

I've never been there but found it intriguing that it is located on Uphill Road! :E

The hill leading to the campground is approximately one mile long,a little curvy and narrow. If you take your time you will be fine. After you check in they will escort you to your site. Although its a bit of a steep grade to get to the view sites you won't be disappointed, the view is amazing. If you are afraid of heights I would recommend one of the view sites that do not have a deck. The decks are on the edge of the ledge. If I am ever in the neighborhood again I will stay at Mama Gerties and request the view sites.
