Most scenic rv campground in Glacier

Another vote for West Glacier KOA.

Saint Mary's campground, in the park, has beautiful views of Mountains and lake and is convenient to Going to the Sun Road. It's my choice of no hookup campgrounds. It is within walking distance to the visitor center. We have never stayed on the west side and never outside the park. Are sites not available in the park?. I know it is getting harder to find campsites now and that makes it less desirable to travel. I have started thinking about selling my RV because of this.

the west side of Glacier is more heavily forested. Apgar Campground is on Lake McDonald with a good view of mountains.
the east side campground is not on the lake but is near it and has a spectacular view of the mountains.

I haven’t been there, but been by it and my buddy stayed last year. The West Glacier KOA is amazing.

The KOA near the west entrance to Glacier National Park is one of the prettiest and nicest we have ever been in.

Do not stay on the east Glacier side. Many beautiful campgrounds on the west glacier side, KOA West Glacier.
