Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park - Campsite #4

This is NOT the campground for larger RV's. I wouldn't want to take anything much larger than our 20' OAL TT. It's 4+ miles of dirt/gravel road to get there, the sites tend to be small.. the pull through are really off camber. There are 3 or so really nice sites, #13 and #14 near the entrance are nice and large, you'll have to go around the loop to be able to back into them.

The good:
- quiet
- Sites are spaced out pretty far
- Berlin town site is interesting.
- Lots of rockhounding and fossil hunting within easy day trip distance
- Dump station in reasonably good order

This is in the middle of nowhere, but if your tent camping, TC, smaller TT or small fiver and you like solitude or the desert in general

Beautiful park even though I found the ichthyosaur exhibit a bit creepy. I went there in October, 2006, and it snowed.
