Oklahoma City park owner called the police on me

Just had a sickening experience I feel compelled to share. It happened at Council Road RV Park in Oklahoma City. I just checked in and paid for a 4 night stay. The owner then immediately kicked me out of the park when he saw me using a multimeter to test the electrical panel at my site! (who doesn’t check park power before plugging in?)He then called the police (gave me no chance to explain myself) and threatened to have me arrested !
I basically drove out under police escort- it was terrible and humiliating to be treated like a criminal.
Owner CLAIMS my debit card was refunded, but I still haven’t seen the money.
I’m over the money, and name calling, and at the point of warning others. I’ve posted brutal reviews on google and yelp. RV Park Reviews won’t post my review because I didn’t “stay overnight “ (how useless is that?). Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? Who else can I tell my story to? Local Better Business Bureau? I fully expect to be attacked for posting this; if the owners side of the story is that important then CALL HIM or SEND HIM AN EMAIL. I would love to hear a reasonable version of this harassment!

The fact is there are plenty of crotchety, nasty old geezers out there running RV parks who have abominable customer service skills (actually none at all)and I can see a possibility that this may be one of those instances.

On the other hand there could be an entirely different explanation too.

The fact is the truth in this case is unknowable.

We have no evidence either way about the campground owner, other than the generally positive tone of the majority of other reviews of the place and its staff.

We do however have evidence that the OP is perhaps exaggerating. To wit, his other, universally negative reviews, and a story (as told by him) that makes very little sense.

But in the end, I agree with you--we have no way of knowing what actually happened.

I didnt get kicked out but had a simular thing happen at a RV park in Santa Rosa NM. The 30A outlet was so loose that my plug would not stay put. I told the manager/owner that maybe he should take a look at it. He go all bent out of shape and said he worked on it the day before and I said maybe you should work on it again and he got all nasty with me. Just drive on by now and stay somewhere else

Internet Search? Eee-gads! I didn't think of that one, but sheesh! I think everything is found there except if he had large or small sized eggs for breakfast this morning!

Kind of hard to take the OP seriously when he joined this forum in 2014 and this is his (or her) first post.

Don't put too much credence in the forum's search results. The search has been broken for years.

I see one post in the last 12 months, but his profile shows a higher post count.

Not only that, and whether or not I believe the OP or not, how many posts one has over a period of time has NO direct bearing on honesty/dishonesty or other motivational factors.

There are plenty of so called "old timers" on this site who have thousands of posts (is this ALL they do?) but still give out wrong or out of date information and whose motives and behaviour I personally find suspicious.

Yep, it's the modern day equivalent of " Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt." - either Mark Twain or Abraham Lincoln.

I went to the Google reviews for the park, found his review and clicked on his name. Then his other reviews pop up. You can also do the same thing on his Yelp reviews. Those are just cut and paste from the Google reviews.

Do you give anything more than a one star? Every review you have ever posted is a onestar because you expect free services done so that being said you checked voltage went complaining to get your money back yet want to stay so got tossed good for that owner to see through you
Bingo. You figured him out. I checked the Google reviews he posted and lo and behold another business, totally unrelated to RVing, apparently was so frustrated with him they also asked him to leave and take his business elsewhere. Then another business which he accused of ripping him off challenged him to contact the Attorney General and have them investigate their business if he actually believed his charges were true. Looks like that Oklahoma RV Park owner saved himself 4 days of grief by tossing the guy day one and refunding his 4 day stay.
