Does anyone know if there is adequate RV parking for truck and fifth wheel. We want to stop by and visit Wall Drug on the way from one RV park to another but not sure if there is anywhere to park for a few hours

For a old Submarine Sailor the best thing about Wall Drug is a photo in one of the hallways obviously taken in a crews mess area (Sorry I don't have photo of it) that says- Wall Drug 3,500 miles west and 400 ft up!

While you are there give my giant rabbit a hug. Yes there is plenty of parking.

The Corn Palace is farther east in Mitchell, SD. If your heading that way, it's worth a stop as is Wall Drug. Located in the center of town but has RV parking too, although not as much as Wall Drug. And parking can get tight if there is a major event going on at the Corn Palace.

Save your time and definitely your money. Nothing to see there.

Wall is worth a stop if only for the 5c coffee.
To find a place to leave the rig, Go North on Glen (where the exit left you) or go over to main - actually any of the 3 N-S streets will work. Turn West (left if you are still going north). When all you see is railroad tracks, Go north for gravel and south for pavement and ignore the signs.

The new art gallery of bronzes is something to see. The rest is tourist junk. Except the book store. Look that over for guides to local things.

Don't forget your free glass of ice water at Wall Drug. Those that have been there will know what I'm talking about.

Also, go a couple of blocks over and visit the National Grassland Visitor Center. It won't have all of the goodies of Wall Drug, but it is nice, quiet and you may actually learn a bit about the grassland ecosystem. ๐Ÿ™‚

Actually there are some good quality products there - along with some tourist junk. Food is sorta basic junk. Coffee is semi-decent if it is fresh.
there are a few RV parks in Wall and for some reason, I think Wall Drug has one as well. We have stayed a few times at Arrow while heading west. FHU etc. The storms coming out of the west can be fierce there as well.

You won't have any trouble finding it. I've seen expressway billboards as far east as Indianapolis. ๐Ÿ™‚

I stopped there last year and it was way better then I thought it would be. They had a lot of diffrent shops and I was pretty surprised. As far as parking I can't remember but I'm sure they do. It's worth the stop.

Yes, plenty of RV parking space dirt and paved. And yes, it's a tourist trap, but worth at least stopping once. We drop in every year just for their morning coffee and fresh baked donuts after our overnighter at the Arrowhead campground in Wall on our way out to Custer SP. ๐Ÿ˜‰
