I will be driving along Highway I from Los Angeles to Morro Bay State park next month . Do you know any place worth seeing? thanks

No, it's quicker for them to drive up 101 anyway.

The OP is only going from LA to Morro Bay, way south of the slide closure.

Perhaps someone with updated information can correct me if I'm wrong, but Hwy. #1 was closed up around Big Sur due to a massive slide. Be sure and find out before you drive that far and have to turn around.

Ditto on the Solvang area. DW and I run up there on a wine buying trip once every year. We like to stay at Flying Flags in Buellton, and run around with the toad.

Go a bit further north. Hearst Castle, Paso Robles wine country, Carmel, Monterey Aquarium.
