Recommendation for a RV Campgound iin Boone NC

Looking to go the mountains in July, any recommendation for the Boone and Blowing Rock mountains of NC.We used KOA several years ago and not impressed.

We go several times a year (one of our sons attends ASU) and Honey Bear is where we always stay.

Several years ago we stayed at Flintlock CG. We were there 3 nights as we traveled the Blue Ridge Parkway with our toad. It is on a main road but at the bottom of a long downhill. Very friendly and helpful. Quiet.

I’ve been to Honey Bear CG just outside of Boone. Nice CG.
