We are headed to Red Rock Canyon, OK. - for the three day weekend. Should be fun 3 other campers are going with us. Haven't camped there is a few years but have always loved it. Beautiful red rock walls and a little stream running through it. Located in the town of Hinton, OK.
I wanna go where I haven't been, but still wanna see what I've seen again!

Thanks everyone, We had a nice weekend at Red Rock Canyon. They don't have a gate to worry about. It was so pretty in the canyon. Fun for the group to just sit around the campfire and just relax. My husband and I also took in the show at the nearby casino. .38 special that was good also. Going back in Nov. Thanks Deb

Give them a call. I heard that they had a new ranger so you better check.

Do you know if they gate it off at night? We wanted to go see a show at the casino and it would be past 10 pm. I know some places close there gates.

When I was there a couple of years ago I pulled in well after midnite and the gate was open. Found a spot to park in the dark and the next day the Ranger came by to check me in and collect the camp fee. BTW, if you register at the gate you can use a credit card, if you wait for the Ranger you need to pay cash.

Thanks, we have tickets for the show at the casino.

I've been down that road with a 34' gasser pulling a toad. No problem either way.

We take our 33 ft. fifth and haven't had a problem. We have seen motorhomes in the park, not sure how long they are. You just have to have the power to get out of the canyon. We have never had trouble even with our old truck that wasn't a Duramax.

We hid out from tornadoes in April of 2011 there! Loved the park. Got to go the Hinton Museum what a great time!

Have fun! Loved the history.
