Route Info California and Arizona

OK, I have a couple road questions. We are going to Hemet from NW Washington, and then Yuma and Mesa/Gold Canyon.

First question is about Hwy 79 from Beaumont to Golden Village Palms in Hemet? OK for 5er?

Second is Hwy 85 from Gila Bend to I-10. Given that this is Super Bowl day(on
Wwest side of Phoenix) we should probably stay on I-8 and head North on I-10 to 60 and get off on Val Vista or Gilbert Rd and head north to Val Vista RV Resort on University.

The stadium is on the west side of town and where your heading is out east, there should not be any issue with the game traffic.

You'll be faster stay on I-8 to I-10 up to Highway 60 to Val Vista Drive (if I'm reading correctly Mesa comes first). There won't be any rush hour traffic and if you go any interior roads it is STOP and GO. We're at Val Vista (in the Fiesta section) for the winter.

Difference is the two lane roadway with stop lights and a casino on 347, but it is a good road unless you're lucky enough to catch the freight train in town...for convenience I'd stay on I-8 to I-10....Dennis

X2 - it isn't worth the hassle to say the 27 miles.
